SpringScanner: Electronics, Software and Sensors to Measure Coil Springs.

The machine is a full automatic coil spring tester, Pneumatic jack is actuated by an electro-valve, this electro-valve is controlled by sofware, in this way the test is fully automatized in order to get the most acuracy and repeatability results, the source of pneumatic power is a external compressor.   

The SpringScanner software acquire force and spring lenght (a huge quantity of samples in each test) and calculate spring rate with a very accurate mathematical method.
